    Exploring the New Age of Fertility Treatment via Newer Advancements, ET HealthWorld

    Mumbai: Experts often remark that after bypass surgery, there is no ‘WIFE’ to look after a woman, hence the struggle continues. When it comes to reproductive health, it becomes a lifelong daunting task.

    However, several advancements in medical science have brought hope to millions through groundbreaking reproductive measures like In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), to the extent that it has established a thriving domestic industry, which is expected to cross $3.7 billion by 2030.

    This innovative treatment has not only outpaced global success rates but has also remained one of the most affordable options available. As the industry continues to expand, it is projected to exceed $3.7 billion by 2030, underscoring its growing significance in global healthcare.

    The 5th edition of the ETHealthworld Fertility Conclave is set to delve into such topics and explore the latest breakthroughs, newer technologies, and emerging advancements—from assisted reproductive technologies (ART) to the evolving landscape of precision medicine and genetic screening—that are redefining the fertility and reproductive treatment paradigm.

    The conclave will provide a platform for experts, practitioners, and stakeholders to exchange insights, share best practices, and explore collaborative opportunities to enhance access, affordability, and efficacy in fertility care, along with discussing strategies to mitigate looming challenges.

    The event is supported by the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI); NOVA IVF Fertility as the associate partner; Gaudium IVF as the gold partner; InterMedics, Safetree, Ferty9 Fertility Center, Vasundhara IVF, Advy Chemical Pvt Ltd, Shivani Scientific, CooperSurgical, Gunjan IVF World, and Gufic Biosciences Limited as supporting partners; and Altus Airflow as the exhibitor partner.

    The 5th edition of the annual conclave will commence with a welcome address by Prathiba Raju, Senior Associate Editor, ETHealthworld.

    Following the opening remarks from the portal’s editor, Dr. Shivanand Bandekar, Dean, Goa Medical College, will deliver the Keynote Address on ‘Expanding Access to IVF: Goa Medical College’s Role in Public Health and Fertility Care.’

    After the keynote address, the conclave will proceed with its first panel discussion on ‘Mapping IVF Trends: Bridging Fertility Needs and Demographic Changes.’

    The experts who will share their insights during the discussion include Dr. Kshitiz Murdia, Co-Founder and CEO, Indira IVF; Dr. Duru Shah, Director-Gynaecworld, Founder President-The PCOS Society; Dr. Manika Khanna, Founder, Chairperson & Managing Director, Gaudium IVF; and Dr. Kedar Padte, Director, Dr. Kedar’s Infertility and Research Centre. The discussion will be moderated by Prathiba Raju, Senior Associate Editor, ETHealthworld.

    Following the completion of the inaugural panel discussion, Dr. Banusri Velpandian, Senior Specialist, Law Division & Research and Networking Division, NITI Aayog, will deliver a Special Address on ‘ART and Surrogacy Laws: Impact on India’s Fertility Industry.’

    After the special address, Gunjan IVF World’s Founder and Director, Dr. Gunjan Gupta, will share her insights through a presentation on ‘Low Eggs or No Eggs: All Is Not Lost!’

    Following the partner presentation, there will be a panel discussion on ‘Does the Centre’s ART Bill Address State Needs and Incorporate Global Insights?’

    The panelists for the session will include Dr. Hrishikesh D Pai, Founder and Director, Bloom IVF Group; Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar, President-FOGSI, HOD-ObGyn & Chief IVF and Endoscopy Centre, Ruby Hall Clinic; Dr. Jaydeep Tank, Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, IVF Consultant, Ashwini Maternity and Surgical Hospital; Dr. Muriel Cardoso, Professor and Head, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Goa Medical College; and Dr. Sulbha Arora, Clinical Director & IVF Specialist, Nova IVF Fertility. Dr. Sonali Kusum, Assistant Professor, School of Law, Rights and Constitutional Governance, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, will moderate the discussion.

    After the panel discussion on the Centre’s ART Bill, there will be a discussion titled ‘Ethics Meets Science: Designer Babies and IVF Technology – The Intersection of Innovation and Morality.’

    The experts who will join the discussion include Nitiz Murdia, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Indira IVF Hospital Limited; Anubhav Prashant, Chief Operating Officer, Apollo Cradle and Apollo Fertility; Javier Herrero, IVF/Embryology Advisor and Clinical Embryologist; Dr. Shipra Thukral, Country General Manager, CooperSurgical India; and Dr. Prateek Makwana, Director, Vasundhara Hospital Ltd., Consultant Embryologist. The discussion will be moderated by Prathiba Raju, Senior Associate Editor, ETHealthworld.

    Upon the completion of the panel discussions, Dr. Jyothi C. Budi, Medical Director, Ferty9 Fertility Center, will make a presentation on ‘Crafting the Journey to the Best IVF Outcomes.’

    After the partner presentation, there will be a discussion on ‘FOGSI’s Blueprint for Advancing Pre-Conceptional Care and Fertility for Optimal Pregnancy Outcomes.’

    The panelists for the discussion will include Dr. Santhosh Kumar Kraleti, Senior Public Health Specialist, Founder and General Secretary, Sushena Health Foundation, Associate Dean, School of Healthcare, Rishihood University; Dr. Parag Bhamre, Country Lead, Maternal and Newborn Health, Jhpiego; Lekha Nirmal Tandulwadkar, Director PMECH Consultant and PMECH Technologies; and Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar, President-FOGSI, HOD (ObGyn) & Chief IVF and Endoscopy Centre, Ruby Hall Clinic, who will moderate the discussion.

    After the discussion on FOGSI’s plans, the conclave will proceed towards its last panel discussion, themed ‘Rising Costs and Sustaining Success Rates: Navigating the High Costs, Risks, and Insurance Scope in IVF.’

    The panelists for the session will include Vinesh Gadhia, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ferty9 Fertility Center; Dr. Nikita Lad Patel, Chief IVF Specialist, Apollo Fertility; Dr. Ashwini Kale, Joint Secretary-FOGSI and Director, Asha Kiran Hospital; Chetan Raj Singh, President, Business, Advy Chemical Pvt Ltd.; and Vikas Anand, Founder & CEO, Safetree. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Keshav Malhotra, Director, ART Rainbow IVF.

    Following the discussions, the annual conclave will conclude with the announcement of the ETHealthworld National Fertility Awards, aimed at celebrating excellence and innovation in the field of reproductive health and fertility treatment.
