Iberia Strengthens Latin American Network for Winter 2025-2026, With Significant Growth in Chile, Peru, and the Dominican Republic

Iberia has unveiled its long-haul flight schedule for the upcoming 2025-2026 winter season, marking a new milestone in connectivity between Europe and Latin America. With more than 355 weekly flights to the region and 2.4 million seats available, the airline will continue to lead the market with the largest offering of its kind.

Iberia will notably expand its presence in Chile, Peru, and the Dominican Republic this winter. Santiago de Chile, in particular, will see a significant boost, with two additional weekly flights compared to 2024, bringing the total to 12 weekly services and over 176,000 seats, a 20% increase from the previous year.

Lima will also enjoy an expanded schedule, with weekly frequencies rising from 13 to 14, offering two daily flights and the capacity to accommodate approximately 1,360 travelers per day between Spain and Peru.

Santo Domingo will experience increased flight availability as well, with up to 13 weekly flights on certain months. Throughout the season, Iberia will provide approximately 142,000 seats on this route.

Iberia’s Latin American operations for the winter of 2024-2025 will maintain the same schedule as last year, reinforcing the growth seen in previous months. Buenos Aires, Bogotá, and Mexico City will continue to receive three daily flights each, amounting to 21 weekly services in both directions.

Sao Paulo will see 14 weekly flights, with two daily connections each way, while Rio de Janeiro will operate up to five weekly services.

Quito, along with San José (Costa Rica), San Juan (Puerto Rico), and Montevideo, will each have seven weekly flights—one per day.

Caracas will have five weekly connections, while San Salvador and Guatemala will offer four weekly frequencies.

Finally, Guayaquil, Panama City, and Havana will each be served by three weekly flights.
