Jaipur: The NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board 2025, SMS Medical College, Monday released the provisional seat matrix for round 1 of MBBS admissions in govt and private medical colleges.
However, the proposed medical colleges in Tonk and Jaisalmer were not included. The state govt is hopeful that the Centre will approve the two proposed medical colleges from the current academic session.
The state has 5,418 MBBS seats and 1,342 dental seats, including 455 govt MBBS seats. Online application submission begins on July 28 and closes on Aug 1.
An SMS Medical College official said the start date for filing the online application form and deposition of the application fee is July 28.
The last date for depositing the application including online form is Aug 1. The counselling board has clarified that the online form should be filled carefully.
If any lapse is detected during scrutiny, the candidature will be rejected at any time during the admission process or even at a later stage. “Any error committed intentionally or otherwise may result in the cancellation of the candidature,” it stated.
