    Sunday, May 18, 2025

Carnival Venezia has officially set sail from Port Canaveral, embarking on an eleven-night repositioning cruise to New York City, where it will serve as a key vessel for Carnival Cruise Line’s summer 2025 deployment. This seasonal transition marks the conclusion of its winter cruise operations in Central Florida and signals the start of a dynamic summer filled with diverse sailings to the Bahamas, Bermuda, and the broader Caribbean. As the ship travels north, it will visit a selection of tropical destinations along the way, providing guests with a blend of leisure days at sea and culturally rich island ports. Once in New York, Carnival Venezia will launch a robust series of cruises ranging from short escapes to extended Caribbean getaways.

This seasonal shift follows the conclusion of Carnival Venezia’s winter cruise program in Central Florida. Built in 2019, the ship is sailing an open-jaw route that includes port visits in both the Eastern and Southern Caribbean before it arrives at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal on May 22, 2025. Destinations on this route include Amber Cove, St. Thomas, Aruba, and Curaçao, in addition to five days spent at sea.

The voyage marks the start of Carnival Venezia’s third consecutive summer operating out of New York, with a full slate of voyages catering to guests seeking everything from short tropical escapes to extended cruises.

Summer Deployment From New York to Feature Private Island Calls and Varied Itineraries
From its seasonal homeport in Manhattan, Carnival Venezia will offer a series of four- to twelve-night cruises to a diverse lineup of destinations, including the Bahamas, Bermuda, and the Eastern Caribbean. These itineraries are designed to appeal to both first-time cruisers and seasoned travelers looking for variety and convenience from a Northeast port.

A significant highlight of this year’s summer schedule is the vessel’s inclusion of Celebration Key, a newly developed private island experience by Carnival Cruise Line. Located on Grand Bahama Island, Celebration Key will open to guests in July 2025.

Carnival Venezia is scheduled to make its first call to the private destination on August 2, 2025, as part of an eight-night itinerary that also visits Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk. A second call at Celebration Key is already scheduled for September 5, 2025, giving more travelers the chance to experience the new island retreat. These stops are expected to enhance the cruise line’s appeal by offering exclusive beachside excursions and private leisure options.

Return to Florida With Expanded Winter Cruises
After completing its summer run from New York, Carnival Venezia will return to Port Canaveral on November 20, 2025, to begin its winter operations. The ship will resume cruising with a wide selection of itineraries ranging from three to fourteen nights, sailing to destinations across the Caribbean and the Bahamas.

This expanded schedule provides flexible options for travelers looking for quick getaways as well as extended voyages during the colder months. The ship’s return to Florida ensures its availability for holiday-season cruising and wintertime escapes.

Carnival Pride Supports Northeast Operations From Baltimore
Carnival Cruise Line’s Northeast presence will also be reinforced by Carnival Pride, which continues to sail year-round from Baltimore, Maryland. The ship will offer seven-night cruises to the Bahamas and Bermuda, maintaining strong connectivity from the Mid-Atlantic region.

In addition to its regular schedule, Carnival Pride will operate two fourteen-night cruises to Greenland as part of the cruise line’s Carnival Journeys collection. These extended sailings are designed to offer immersive experiences, longer time at sea, and destinations not typically included on mainstream itineraries.

With two ships sailing from strategic ports in the Northeast, Carnival is positioned to offer a dynamic and wide-ranging cruise program for the summer of 2025 and beyond.
