Villanova University issued a warning for an active shooter on its Pennsylvania campus on Thursday.
The school told students to stay clear of Law School Scarpa Hall.

“Police on scene. Move to secure location. Lock/barricade doors. More info to follow,” it said in an active shooter incident warning on its website.
“Police continue to search area. Remain sheltered in place until further notice,” it added.

The Radnor Township Police Department said there are no reported victims at this time. Officers are continuing to clear buildings and the incident remains active, it said.
“IF YOU ARE SHELTERING – STAY IN PLACE UNTIL A POLICE OFFICER GUIDES YOU,” the Radnor Township Police Department said on X.
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer told reporters it is believed that there was someone on campus with a firearm, though law enforcement was still investigating.
“They have officers who are searching buildings right now, we are going to get to the bottom of this,” he said.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said local and federal law enforcement are on site responding to the reports of an active shooter.
“Avoid the area and follow the direction of local authorities,” he said on X. “We will share additional information as it becomes available.”
The campus is located approximately 12 miles northwest of Philadelphia’s Center City.
