Shivamogga: Health minister Dinesh Gundu Rao on Tuesday inspected areas affected by Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD) in Aralagodu village in Sagar taluk, Shivamogga district. The village recorded 22 fatalities from KFD since 2019.Speaking to reporters, Rao confirmed that a new vaccine is under development and should be ready by 2026.
